The CNMI Statewide Longitudinal Data System (SLDS) is proud to present:

A Self-Paced Training on the Early Warning System

This training is intended for school interventionists, including school admin, counselors, teachers & instructors

What is the Early Warning System?
An Early Warning System (EWS) is your school’s early detection radar for student success. It uses real-time data to identify students who may be at-risk, so your team can act before small issues become big problems.

Training Modules:
  1. The EWS Foundations (alternative link here)
  2. The EWS Mindset & Culture (alternative link here)
  3. The EWS Process (alternative link here)
  4. The EWS Platform (alternative link here)
  5. EWS Success In the First 30 Days (alternative link here)
  6. Advanced EWS Use (coming soon)
How it works:
This training is self-paced. There will be 6 modules, each taking about 30-60 minutes to complete. Participants will use Nearpod to complete the training activities.

Participants who complete all training activities and the evaluation will receive a certificate of completion and a data sticker pack to be picked up at our office.
